From Experience to Purpose
Before founding BlackRaven Collective, the foundation was laid over five years as a Facility Manager at a nonprofit organization, working directly with men transitioning out of prison, county jail, mental hospitals, and homelessness helping them rebuild stability, structure, and a sense of direction during some of the hardest transitions a person can face. Alongside that work, I spent nearly a decade of my own time with mental health professionals, facing my own tribulations and studying myself, and others, closely.
That work taught me something I've carried into everything since: change isn't about circumstance - it's about perception. It's doing the next right thing. It's consistent, daily work on yourself. The moment someone truly sees their own pattern is the moment they stop being controlled by it. I built this organization to carry that same principle further - to individuals rebuilding their lives, and to executives and public leaders navigating decisions where clarity and self-awareness matter just as much. Much of what people carry as suffering is optional. The sooner a pattern is truly seen, the sooner it can change - and with it, the life built around it.
I'm not a licensed therapist, counselor, or behavior analyst, and this isn't a substitute for clinical care. This is direct, honest, accountability-driven work for people ready to see themselves clearly.
